GREETINGS!

I’d like to give you a little background . . . I was born in NYC, have lived in Cambridge, Baltimore, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and settled in midcoast Maine in 2000 where I began my book design business. After over 12 years of working for other companies I am now living my dream, working for myself in a most beautiful part of the country. (Please download my résumé PDF for specifics.)

The personnel at Yellow House Studio consists of me and Dock (faithful companion and official greeter, ‘works’ alongside me at all times, well, actually he’s conked out under my desk until it’s time for a walk). Offsite, I have a wonderful partnership with editor/copyeditor/proofreader extraordinaire, the eagle-eyed Elizabeth IlgenFritz, also a former New Yorker who is now living her dream in Maine as well. A freelance production troop is also on hand whenever the work demands it.

Close ties with printers from Maine to Asia make it possible for me to provide a wide range of choices for excellent service, quality and price.

I enjoy the collaborative process in ‘birthing’ a book and the relationships that evolve with my clients, whether they be publishers, museums or individuals. I look forward to hearing from you!
